Yilun Ma, fifth year student in the Tri-Institutional MD-PhD Program, has been awarded an F30 grant from the National Institutes of Health. The award will support Mr. Ma's research in the White Lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he is currently working toward his PhD.
The Olaf S. Andersen Physician-Scientist Award was created to honor the legacy of Dr. Olaf S. Andersen, Program Director of the Tri-Institutional MD-PhD Program from 1996 - 2021. The award will be given annually, starting this year, to an MD-PhD student finishing their 3rd year of medical school.There are seven criteria for the award:
Dr. Benjamin Neel, MD, PhD has been elected as a member of the National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Neel, a member of the Tri-I MD-PhD graduating class of 1983, is currently Professor of Medicine and Director of the Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center at New York University Langone Medical Center, New York City.
