Local Chapter of American Physician Scientists Association

The Tri-I MD-PhD maintains an active local chapter of the American Physician Scientists Association (APSA).

APSA is a national organization dedicated to addressing the needs of future physician-scientists with respect to their training and career development. Founded in 2003, APSA held its first Annual Meeting in 2005 and has grown tremendously in the ensuing years.

The mission of APSA is to be a voice for physician-scientist trainees at all levels. APSA aims to help physician-scientist trainees realize their educational and professional goals in an organization free from harassment or discrimination based on gender, orientation, race, ethnicity, or religion.

Every year, our local chapter to the Joint AAP/ASCI/APSA.
