Harlan Pietz, Tri-I MD-PhD Student, Receives NIH Research Award

Fifth year Tri-Institutional MD-PhD student Harlan Pietz has been awarded an F30 research grant from the National Institutes of Health.

This award will support Mr. Pietz’s research in the Chen Lab at The Rockefeller University, where he works on understanding the molecular basis of substrate poly-specificity exhibited by an ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter implicated in neuroblastoma drug resistance. In particular, it will partially fund his project "Studies of the structural and functional basis of neuroblastoma drug resistance."
