Graduates of the Tri-Institutional MD-PhD Program go on to be leaders in all aspects of modern biomedical research and academic medicine.
Of our alumni from the graduating classes 2010 - 2024, greater than 80% currently hold appointments at medical schools, research institutes, or in biotech/pharma. Of the students who matriculated in the program in that same period, 97% of the students graduated with the dual MD-PhD degree and 98% completed at least a PhD. This on par with the national attrition rate of 3.1% (AAMC Report, 2021).
