Fifth year Tri-Institutional MD-PhD student Jenny Xue (pictured below) was awarded an F30 fellowship from the National Cancer Institute for her project titled “Dissecting the evolution of targeted therapy resistance in BRAF V600E-mutant cancer”.
She is currently completing her thesis work in Dr. Piro Lito’s lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her project focuses on improving therapeutic combinations for BRAF V600E-mutant cancers and understanding how tumor cells interact with each other to facilitate the development of therapy resistance.
