MD-PhD Students to Receive Awards at 2019 WCGS Convocation

Two Tri-Institutional MD-PhD students, Emma Schatoff, PhD (6th year MD-PhD student) and Bobbie Pelham-Webb (5th year MD-PhD student), will be honored at the 2019 Weill Cornell Graduate School Convocation Ceremony.

Emma Schatoff won first place for the Vincent du Vigneaud Oral Presentation Award for her talk "The mode of Apc disruption dictates response to tankyrase inhibition in vivo” on her research with mentor Lukas Dow.  Bobbie Pelham-Webb placed second for the Vincent du Vigneaud Second Year and Above Poster award for her project "“The role of mitotic bookmarking in the molecular resetting of the pluripotent stem cell identity” under the mentorship of Effie Apostolou.

Both Emma and Bobbie will receive their awards at the 2019 WCGS Convocation Ceremony to be held in Uris Auditorium on May 29, 2019 at 10:30am.
