Introducing the Class of 2019

July, as it always does, saw the arrival of our newest cohort of MD-PhD students. This year we welcomed 17 students into the first year class. Representing 14 undergraduate institutions spread across 10 different states, our new class brings us an impressive group of aspiring physician-scientists with myriad interests and passions: musicians (including pianists, a saxophonist, singers, and a violinist), athletes (varying from bicyclists to runners and swimmers to rugby players and rock climbers), and dancers, and that's just scratching the surface!

With research backgrounds ranging from cancer genomics, applied machine learning, molecular biology, the neuro-biology of addiction, and well beyond, we are all excited to welcome this new batch of students into our Program and community.
